International recording artist Dr. Gianni Bianchini is among the leading pianists, vocalists, and organists in today’s jazz scene. He has played, recorded, or studied with many of jazz’s prominent artists such as Arturo Sandoval, Joshua Redman, John Scofield, Jean Michel-Pilc, Ron McClure, Duffy Jackson, and countless others from around the world.  Dr. Bianchini graduated magna cum laude with a bachelor’s degree from Berklee College of Music, a master’s degree from New York University, and was awarded his Doctorate in Jazz Piano Performance from the University of Texas.  Dr. Bianchini is currently on staff as a Professor of Jazz Piano at Berklee College of Music's La Universidad de San Francisco de Quito, in Ecuador. Dr. Bianchini was a Teaching Assistant at the University of Texas and an Adjunct Professor at New York University. In addition to teaching, Dr. Bianchini continues to perform with his piano trio, organ trio (GOT), and his quintet (The Quintini) across the globe.

Meri Ziev

Yvette Norwood Tiger, founder of the Palm Beach International Jazz Festival, says Meri is, "angelic in voice and presence"! 

A flute-playing jazz-band groupie in high school, Meri Ziev inaugurated the Jazz Series at Rudy’s Pub with gifted, international piano player & instructor Dr. Gianni Bianchini.  A vocalist and a retired Speech-Language Pathologist, Ziev used to work in just about every therapy setting with every age, from premature newborns to retired veterans. Now, Meri sings her way through the worlds of cabaret, jazz gigs, and performing with the Pops Orchestra of Palm Beach County.  She performs from ‘Zoom to the Room,’ around the world, at cabaret venues around the country, in jazz clubs, condominiums, galas, in person, online and poolside! She is also in demand for her hybrid performance lectures.  With philanthropy dear to her heart, Meri has performed in fundraising and charity events for a variety of organizations, including the students of Grace Notes Foundation, Lighthouse for the Blind, the Jewish Federation of Greater Philadelphia, Lake Worth Playhouse, and the Broward Art Guild. 

Meri Ziev is the co-founder of the South Florida Cabaret Singers (‘FLOC’ of Songbirds!) community.
